Church of Our Lady of Peace

The Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Peace, located at 239-241 East 62nd Street between Second and Third Avenues in the Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1886-7 as the Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer, and was designed by Samuel Warner in the Victorian Gothic style. It then became the Bethlehem Church, a Lutheran congregation, before finally becoming the home of the newly formed Italian Madonna della Pace parish in 1918.
