Eckford Parish Church

Eckford Parish Church Stands on the site of a church granted to Jedburgh Abbey in the early 13th century. The church was burnt by the English army in 1544, and it is said that the church bell was removed to either Norham Church or Carham Church in Northumberland. The present day church was built between 1665 and 1668. The north aisle was added in 1722 and further alterations took place in 1774 and 1898.
