The cemetery at Lidar Mound (Lidar Höyük) has been dated to the Early Bronze Age and has revealed 200 stone sarcophagi whose dead were positioned in a foetal position with terracotta vessels next to them. The room graves that were dated to a later period were subject to multiple burials, showing that they were opened and used again. Burial gifts at these graves include terracotta vessels, bronze needles and jewellery with beads. This must be the mound during excavations.
