About this place
Nature reserve in Bavaria, Germany. The Tennenloher Forst is one of the largest continuous forest areas in northern Bavaria and a popular recreational destination between Erlangen, Nuremberg, and Heroldsberg. Numerous hiking and cycling trails wind through the diverse woodland, which is home to many rare animal and plant species. Parts of the forest are protected nature reserves, offering visitors a peaceful and scenic natural environment.
